Microsoft Office 2010 (formerly referred to by the codename Office 14 thereof) is the next version of Microsoft's Office productivity suite and Microsoft Windows. Entered development in 2006, while Microsoft is about to finish work on the Microsoft Office 12, which was issued on behalf of the Microsoft Office System 2007. Has been overcome the major version number 13, and should be back to the aversion of 13. Was previously thought that Office 2010 (then called the office 14) and a ship in the first half of 2009, but Steve Ballmer has officially announced that Office 2010 will ship in 2010. It will be more Office 2010 "role-based" than previous versions.
