Dr. Oz is Vice President and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. Manages the Institute of Cardiovascular and Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. His research interests include heart replacement surgery, and minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complementary medicine and health care policy. He has authored more than 400 original publication, and book chapters and medical books and received many patents.
